IE7 Users – Press Ctrl+Q for a good time

May 5, 2007

Not that long ago everyone insisted I was crazy for not moving to Netscape from IE. I called it a fad. It was. Every time since it has been, and so it will be with the FireGerbil. The FireGerbil dev team will get burnt out, the code will get nasty and the software will suffer.

Microsoft on the other hand will have lots of money still. They also have been perfecting their source/version control for 25+ years and already have experience replacing the dev team. They’ve done it before and they can do it again. They’ve got more experience with competition now than ever before.

So I’m an Internet Exploder user and with Vista I moved to version 7. One of my favorite features in IE7 is this view of all the pages that are open. I don’t know what it’s called but it looks like the image on the left. Basically you see all the open tabs in one screen. I love it. The waterfall tabs and taskbar previews also add to the pleasant streamlined multitasking experience in Vista.

Just remember… Ctrl+Q
